Ari often free scales the sides which worried me initially but the catio has proven to be solid with no harm to her due to the coated nature of the mesh unlike other poor imitations. It has given our cats their much needed access to the outdoors. If I did a second one now, I’d breeze through it! (Though I’m not volunteering for that!) It also got easier as I became better apt at the clips and awareness of things (ensuring the mesh is all one way round, all the right sizes etc)
